I budget myself one garment from Maiwa annually, so I have a small wardrobe of comfortable, ethical, perfect pieces, all of which work together. I always feel well dressed in them. Absolutely worth the price.
Great idea. I have one dress that I wear constantly and that always feels perfect. Get many compliments on it. It seems as good as the day I received it almost two years ago. Adding one piece each year, pretty soon I'd have a rotation of favorites.
Funny and lovely post. Been there! Glad you finally go settled.
The Journeywoman Mala tunic in natural linen is my go to summer dress. It's perfect for all occasions, drapes beautifully, has pockets (!), is cool yet covers most of my 70 year old upper arms that are no longer a show off feature, and I get complements on it every time I wear it which is often. It's almost two years old and as perfect as the day I bought it. I'm going to go with Kathy's lead and begin collecting a small wardrobe of these treasures.
I agree that Maiwa is one of the best choices for new clothes for those who are trying to be conscious consumers of clothing. And although I limit my purchases of new clothing, owning a Journeywoman piece is on my wish list !
Arrgghh… don’t you hate some of those old planes. I’m not quite so nervous these days since Sam has been a pilot. He says the crew wouldn’t be flying it if they were worried!
I commiserate with your flying anxieties. My first real job out of college was as a flight attendant. Back then, it seemed so easy as to now-very little security, rarely any delays. Now, I try not to check luggage because they WILL misplace it more often than not. Don’t get me started on the delays….

I'm absolutely thrilled to meet you in Brittany and listen to your stories in person 😍😍

That’s what I figure. Air crew don’t usually lack for sense 😉
Safe travels to you and here's hoping that you have a smoother journey ahead.
Ah, but the most interesting situations are encountered when things don’t go exactly to plan 😉
I am so excited about the upcoming trip I am making to Brittany, and look forward to a week of Blue!
For me it begins tomorrow, when Claire and I go to harvest the plants from the obliging farmer who is growing them for us. 💙
How wonderful! I will see you on Sunday!

Remember in the movie “Titanic”? The main character used a whistle to be rescued from the drowning ship. 🤷🏻♀️
I must be one of the few people on the planet who hasn’t seen that movie 🤣🤣
Hahaha!
