Dear India, thank you for everything, for idea, for waiting to open mail with portraits, for putting us together, for making it all possible. It is great to know the whole story. I am so happy to be part of it. I loved the whole process, appreciate steady and slow movement towards the opening. Go Fabrik, go.
Absolutely. This is the third ( international) community project for Fabrik (two in its former un-named incarnation) and it’s just lovely to think that it has worldwide relevance to the textile arts community.
Thank you, India, for including us in such an important celebration. Wish I could have been there, but reading about the dedication and seeing the work of all fellow artists brought a sense of a “small world” community. May the center always be filled with the creative spirit of makers past, present and future. What a joyful day! xx Jeannie
Thank you for pinning us together … we must be floating in the breeze, listening to fragments of conversations ❤️

What a magnificent contribution to the display. You must have been over the moon to have so many respond to the request.

Oh fab! I should get there next weekend. Pity I missed yesterday’s opening events. Looks like it was a great show.
There was a real sense of community 💙
